We invest in your future. With your annual professional development budget of approximately €2,000, you can focus on developing your individual skills. So stay curious and gain new insights - for yourself and for all of us - on our own learning platform, the “IT Learning Hub,” at industry conferences, in technical books, or through one of the many free workshops on our Learning Canvas. Who knows - maybe we’ll be learning from you soon.

Tech Talks

Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. is Tech Talk time—and you can join in. During a short, informal presentation, we’ll discuss a topic of technical interest in an open discussion, share our experiences and offer feedback, tips and kudos.

UnConference

A traditional conference meets an open-space format. Our UnConferences combine presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities with the chance to bring your own topics and questions to the table. No two UnConferences are alike - because you help shape them.

Language Courses

In addition to programming languages, would you also like to improve your German or become fluent in English so you can communicate with our international teams in Germany, Bulgaria, or Spain? Then sign up for a language course offered by the REWE GROUP. Here, you’ll learn new vocabulary and discover different cultures in a relaxed atmosphere alongside your colleagues.

A colorful learning canvas

Continuing education takes many forms. In our Learning Canvas, you’ll find a wide range of in-house training sessions, seminars, workshops and coaching sessions. This program was developed specifically for REWE digital. Your questions and requests inspire us and help the Learning Canvas grow. Our communication workshops are incredibly versatile and will teach you methods for facilitating discussions, giving feedback, delivering presentations and resolving conflicts. Expand your communication skills to support your professional and personal growth.

Your personality is our top priority. To help you fully develop it at REWE digital, our professional development program includes workshops on mindfulness, resilience, time management and self-management.

If you want to grow into the role of a team leader - or, as a team leader, take your skills to the next level - you’ve come to the right place. We offer a wide range of training programs on topics such as servant leadership, lateral leadership, change and storytelling and more.

Technology knowledge

Our IT learning hub, by techies for techies. Stay up to date with our workshops on topics like chaos engineering, product owner training and Java web security to stay at the forefront of the digital world.

We love tools, and in our workshops on Confluence, Jira, Miro and hybrid meeting techniques, we'll show you how they work.

Your certification as an Agile Team Coach

Our roles in the agile work process are not (yet) part of traditional apprenticeship programs. So we’re taking matters into our own hands to offer certification as an Agile Team Coach (formerly Scrum Master). To do this, we’ve teamed up with Tribe Masters, Engineering Managers and People Coaches to develop the best training program for you. Are you ready, Coach?

You lead forward

We’ll help you become a leader. In our six-part seminar series, you’ll learn the core skills you need to grow into your leadership role. Our six values form the foundation of our understanding of good leadership: Courage, excellence, passion, cross-functionality, speed and focus. Together with external experts, we’ll discuss modern leadership styles, experiment with feedback methods and reflect on your understanding of leadership. By the end, you’ll have everything you need to develop into a great leader.

Start your leadership journey

A good leadership style means something different to everyone. That’s why we’ll embark on the Leadership Journey with you and develop a shared understanding of leadership based on our values. In the process, we’ll explore strategic direction, establish leadership retrospectives and offer various training programs to support you in your leadership role.
