Your home of IT is a product team in our Customer Relations & Sales (CRS) department, responsible for a variety of centrally controlled sales processes relating to our customers, as well as marketing and customer loyalty. This includes focus areas such as multichannel marketing, campaign management, retail media, our customer service, versatile multi-brand loyalty management (including PAYBACK), and our sales and distribution processes. Become part of one of our product teams at REWE digital and join your Home of IT as an IT Business Analyst to enrich the lives of millions of people!

What you will do:

  • You will independently create process models, user stories, use cases, and interface specifications as guidelines for the developers.
  • You will familiarize yourself with the specifics and data of your business area (e.g., purchasing, marketing, billing), for which you will also perform more complex SQL-based analyses in order to always provide your stakeholders with the right answers.
  • You will create test cases, perform functional, integration, and regression tests, and take care of piloting and rollout planning for your own applications.
  • You will resolve tricky support cases that make it to third-level support (error and system analyses, error processing).
  • You ensure the continuous development and documentation of existing applications through active lifecycle management.
  • You will organize and moderate workshops to determine the actual needs and wishes of users
  • You live the agile values and actively contribute to our feedback and error culture, promoting an agile mindset within the organization
  • You will support the product owner, for example, in designing the product vision and roadmap, managing the product backlog, or controlling budgets and tasks

What we are looking for:

  • First and foremost, your personality: You are a strong team player with analytical skills and communication skills. You are good at thinking in terms of processes and understanding the effects on interfaces, and you do not shy away from complex issues. You enjoy familiarizing yourself with both old procedures and new technologies.
  • With your strong communication skills, moderation skills, and diplomacy, you are able to convince even critics and non-IT professionals.
  • You have successfully completed a degree in (business) information technology or business administration or have a comparable qualification.
  • You have experience with Salesforce.
  • Ideally, you have experience with SQL and business process modeling (e.g., UML/BPMN).
  • Jira and Confluence are common tools for you
  • You are enthusiastic about the world of commerce and ideally have knowledge of the relevant business processes in the commercial environment.
  • You have experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and software development projects. You feel comfortable being part of a team that lives by agile principles and acts independently
  • We require very good English skills
