Fullstack Developer (Backend focus)

REWE digital Spain is located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga. As a team of 70 colleagues, we drive innovation for REWE digital in Germany.

The Store Task Management team is looking for a Senior experienced full-stack developer. Through the task management system, tasks and guidelines are sent to stores from headquarters, regional teams, field service, and merchants/store managers.

What you will do:

• Developing and maintaining applications for retail stores and logistic centres
• Be in close collaboration with different product roles and team members
• Be engaged in the whole product development lifecycle
• Be part of cross-functional international team

What you will bring: 

• Minimum 6 – 7 years of extensive experience with Java and Spring Framework
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with Kafka
• Good understanding of microservice architecture
• Containerized applications using Docker and deployment to K8s environment
• Good understanding of relational database concepts
• Proactive mindset and problem-solving skills
• Working experience in Agile product development practices
• Fluent English, located in Malaga

Nice-to-Have Skills/ Knowledge

• Interest in software architecture and DevOps
• Familiarity with Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (particularly using GitLab)
