The hybrid product Invoicing B2B is in charge of generating and delivering wholesale invoices for warehouse and drop shipments to REWE and Nahkauf retailers as well as to external customers. In addition, internal group invoices are also created, for example between REWE Markt GmbH and Penny Markt GmbH. The invoices are delivered to the recipients in various ways, e.g. electronically as EDIFACT messages or via our self-developed web application.

The product team "Invoicing B2B" supports and develops various self developed applications related to the creation of wholesale invoices within the REWE Group. The SAP-based general ledger of the REWE Group is also supplied. Invoice creation and transmission is fully automated and completely integrated into REWE's merchandise management system. The team, which is spread across Spain and Germany, works in an agile, self-organised and cross-functional manner, enabling it to respond very flexibly to changes. As part of the internationally oriented "NEO" programme, the new applications are also being developed in collaboration with the GH team at RIAG, which is based in Austria.

We are looking for a Product Owner (PO) – someone who combines the entrepreneurial spirit to find innovative solutions with a team in Spain and at the same time manages stakeholders in Germany and their requirements.

What you will do  

• You are holistically responsible for your product and your budget 
• You will work closely with the team, the other Product Owners from  our domain as well as Product Owners from other domains, the architects and other colleagues such as our Chief Product Owners or different departments within our Group
• You will shape the product vision and product roadmap and transform the product from a legacy tech stack (HOST) to a modern tech stack (Cloud technology) with the team to ensure the basis for a modern IT infrastructure.
• You are responsible for developing the backlog, identifying dependencies together with the stakeholders, the team and the respective experts and ultimately deciding on priorities, which you also represent   
• You stay up-to-date and keep yourself informed about trends and innovations on the market   
• You stand for transparent, open communication with your team, your stakeholders and your colleagues

What you will bring
 

•   First and foremost, your personality: your commitment and reliability, paired with the ability to work in a team Innovative strength, entrepreneurial thinking and foresight as well as a results- and goal-oriented way of working  
• A degree in (business) IT or business administration with a strong focus in IT or comparable training with several years of professional experience 
•   Your experience as a product owner in an agile working environment  
• Your methodological expertise (e.g. SCRUM/KANBAN/UX/design thinking methods)   
• Your communication skills in a multinational team and across national borders 
• Your ability to act as an interface between all stakeholders - the development team in Spain and the translation of requirements from stakeholders in Germany  
• Fluent English and very good German skills are required due to our corporate language -ideally you also speak Spanish 
• Your availability to travel to Germany and Austria on a more or less regular basis 
• Willingness to be regularly present in the Malaga office and if necessary relocate to Andalusia
