How do I apply for a job?

You can find all vacancies currently available at REWE digital under Jobs. Click onto the various vacancies to find out what projects and tasks await you. If a job suits you, apply for it via the “Apply now” button. This will either take you to the REWE Group career portal or straight to the form. Both routes lead to us.

What documents do I need to upload with my application?

Your current CV, your earliest possible starting date and your salary expectations are a must. You can optionally add relevant references and a cover letter.

I am interested in several positions. Can I send one application for all of them?

That’s cool that you can see yourself in several roles. Please apply for each position separately as different departments or teams are often involved in the selection process. Thank you.

Can I work remotely?

Yes, this is possible in most cases. Our flexible working models consider the needs and interests of each individual, as well as the team. You decide together how often to see each other on site or remotely.

However, as not every job can be done remotely yet, please bring this up at your personal interview. Together, we will find the best solution for you and your team.

What happens after you have sent us your application for an apprenticeship or dual study programme in IT?

After sending your application for an apprenticeship or dual study place, this is what happens next:

1. E-mail feedback

We’ll confirm receipt of your documents and send you updates on your application by e-mail. So keep an eye on your inbox.

2. Online test

Take our online test and answer some questions about you and your chosen apprenticeship or dual study programme.

3. A personal conversation

When you call, ask us everything you want to know about the company and your apprenticeship or dual study programme.

4. Applicant Day

Let’s find out whether we suit each other during the Applicant Day at one of our sites.

5. Job offer

If we think we’re a good match, we’ll make you an offer we hope you can’t refuse. Now it’s up to you to decide.

What is the online test like for applicants for an apprenticeship or a dual study programme?

The test takes around 40–50 minutes and consists of five to seven different modules, depending on what you have applied for. You have five days from receipt of the invitation e-mail to complete the test. You can interrupt the test when you have completed a module and finish it at a later point in time within the given time frame.

If you pass the test, we look forward to getting to know you better over the phone.

How do I prepare myself for the phone call after the online test?

We want to get to know you personally during the call. Introduce yourself to us and share with us what motivated you to apply for the apprenticeship or dual study programme. Just be yourself and take the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have.

If we expect you to prepare for a certain subject, we’ll let you know about this by mail.

What does Applicant Day hold in store for me?

On Applicant Day we will invite you to one of our sites. You don’t need much preparation, as you can prepare all the exercises here on site.

To avoid unnecessary stress on the day, you should plan your journey and where to park etc. in advance. Add a bit of extra time in case you get stuck in a traffic jam or a train is cancelled.

On the day, we will explain everything to you in detail. You are of course welcome to ask questions at any time you like. Just be yourself, there is no need to put on an act for us. It’s the only way that we can really get to know you.  We look forward to talking to you.
